WEDNESDAY SCHOOL is a productive opportunity for all MS HS students. From 3:30 - 5:30, twice a month, students can get assistance from a MS HS teacher in any of their academic courses. This can be a time for making up or retaking tests, completing incomplete assignment and projects or possibly getting some tutoring. Contact your classroom teacher if you believe this time would be beneficial for your child.

Lone Jack High School will be hosting a Career Exploration Fair on Friday, November 15, 2024 from 8:00am-11:00am. Our goal is to provide our students the best possible chance to explore their future opportunities and we need your help! We are looking for local professionals, parents and business owners to be presenters at our Career Fair. Our hope is to have a representative from each of the 16 career clusters at our Career Fair. Presenters will have five 20-minute time slots and will be provided with a classroom, small group sizes, presentation technology, technical support, teacher supervision and brunch. Congratulations to Mr. Jared Ripley on his award of $500 from the Missouri Retired Teachers Association!! He applied for additional funds for Nelson Art Gallery field trips. A 5 state MRTA region, 68 applicants, 7 winners. Great work Mr. Ripley.

Thank you Lone Jack for coming out to the ribbon cutting of our new turf athletic field. What a great night celebrating our Fall sports & activities! Next up, construction of the multipurpose building which will house meeting room, fine arts space & gymnasium.

Bus rider families, Please see the attached flyer. First Student drivers, along with LJC6 staff will be riding the afternoon routes on MONDAY! Families come to your bus stops and connect with the drivers and staff. The hope is we catch any students or stops they may not have been communicated. We look forward to seeing you and may even have a handful of candy to give to students too!! THE FIRST STUDENT DISPATCH NUMBER HAS CHANGED. The new number is 816-732-6547. Calling all Bus Riders! First Student & LJC6 will run a practice route the afternoon of Monday, August 19th. During the regular bus route times 3:20-4:30pm. Come to your stop and wave at your driver and LJC6 staff members. Great way to double check your bus stop location. If you do not see a bus, ensure you call First Student at 816-732-6541.
